Drawing and Painting (AEP) SA2

AEP Drawing and Painting Examination is on Tuesday of the 13 October 2008.

Questions to choose from:
CHOOSE ONLY ONE

1. DOMINANCE
- Standing out in relation to the rest. Superior development, condition or state of mind. Controlled and governed through authority.

2. TOP OF THE LINE
- The best or most expensive in a series of merchandise, products or services.

3. REPURPOSED
- To use or change into another form or function. Presented or seen in a different manner or direction.

4. FACADE
- The exterior of a building. A false front that people show to others.

5. COMBINATION
- An assemblage of different parts or qualities. The act of creating a new entity or a new whole.

6. MACHINE AESTHETICS
- Beauty expressed in the form of technology and machines. Suggestive of the magnificence of mass production, industrialization and engineering.

INSTRUCTIONS

Attach your preliminary/supporting studies (not more than FIVE A3 sheets of paper) on top of your exam drawing.

Bring all your own materials and implements to work independently in the Exam Hall. No borrowing will be allowed.

You should record and develop your ideas from first hand observation during the preparatory stage. You may bring selected specimens into the examination room to study. Your final work should show how the original stimulus has been developed.
